Have I ever told you the iguanas on toast story? This was a special request from a bride who had an inside joke with her fiance about an internet meme (shown bellow). From this cute photo the cake topper was born. 2 realistic iguanas on toast. I can honestly say it is one of the most unique and memorable requests I have gotten.

Happy Hedgehogs wear Rosettes

A little spin off from my regular hedgehog cake topper, I was asked for rosettes to be added instead of a rose. They turned out really nicely, it's fun and classy!

Going for a tractor ride.

It doesn't matter what your passion is, it can be added to your topper! This groom loved the Case tractors, so he had to have his very own red tractor. Now it makes a great keepsake from their wedding.

They can go on the base with them or they can be separate so you can put them anywhere on the cake.  Just be careful, your pets might be so cute they steal the show!

This wonderful couple wanted a cake topper that celebrated themselves as a couple and as individuals. They are both writers and love to read. I incorporated their careers and their love of reading. This wedding cake topper was requested by one of the brides good friends, what a wonderful friend to have a custom cake topper created just for them that they can keep forever!

The birth of a baby!

My cousin's wife had her baby a little while ago. They don't have a theme for his room yet, it was decorated in yellows because the sex of their baby was going to be a surprise. I decided to create a classic teddy bear keepsake for him. And to cute it up some more I added a little vest :)

Just adorable a penguin and polar bear

Amber wanted a penguin and a polar bear. This cake topper was so much fun to create! I love how it turned out and it's going to be a great keepsake for her later. I would love to make more toppers like this :) I love the realistic cute style.

Edible Cake Topper or Keepsake Cake Topper?

You're picking out your cake and you're asked what you want to put on the top. There are so many choices available to you now. You can go with a traditional look with the plastic bride and groom, or you can go with another more personalized option.

First you need to decide if you want to go with an edible topper or a keepsake. The edible ones allow you to have flowers, figurines, etc. and it's edible! They are often made out of fondant or chocolate. This can make a nice snack for later, or you can freeze it to save it.

You can go with a personalized sculpture just for you, made the way you want it. When it is made from polymer clay, ceramics, wood, metal, etc. it is a keepsake topper, with minimal care these can last a life time. These are usually non-toxic, but I don't recommend trying to eat them. You can have anything created that you want and you will be able to display it on your mantel or shelf for years to come.
